such as the C4 gene. The goal of the study is to possibly open doors to personalized medicine, customized treatments for individual sufferers of a disease based on genetic information.
Dr. Roussos also described the highly complex structure and function of the brain, involving the neurotransmitters and neurons. In closing, Dr. Roussos gave the worldwide audience
hope for a better future for all those suffering from mental disorders.
